That was an amazing experience! But who can see my photos?
You just had your first boudoir session. It was everything you hoped it could be, you are walking on clouds savoring the feeling, but then a thought strikes you - Who can see those photos? What happens to them next?
The short answer is: you and me and nobody else. I take steps to ensure they remain safe and secure at every step of the process. From the start of the session to the final delivery, the security of your images is paramount.
How do you keep my images safe?
Let's walk through the process step by step. You have your session, I'm taking photos and those photos are being stored on my camera's memory card. This is the first step. That card remains in my sole possession. I don't hand it off to anyone else, I don't let an assistant handle it, just me.
Once the session ends, I transport that card back to my office and immediately copy those images to an encrypted folder just for you. They are not mixed with anyone else's images, they are yours. They are safe and secure on my office storage, readable only by me.
But what about backups?
Great question! It's all well and good that your images are safe and secure at my office, but things happen; hardware fails, disasters strike. I prepare for that. I use a zero trust encrypted offsite backup. Which is a lot of fancy words for: I re-encrypt your images and copy them to a trusted backup provider.
This step is important. Most backup providers advertise encryption and security but if you leave the security to them, they have a key to your data. Your trust is too important to me to allow that. So I lock them up in a digital box that only I have the key to before I copy them offsite. They can't read the data, only I can. It's just meaningless 0s and 1s to them.
How do I get to see my pictures?
This is the most exciting part for you, delivery day! You've been anxiously awaiting them, here is how I deliver them to you. Once I've selected the images, edited them and made them ready for you; I upload them to my secure gallery provider, Pixieset. The gallery is password protected and the password is given only to you separately from the gallery link. This is your key to viewing the images. On top of that a download pin is required to save the images to your device. This gives you two layers of protection.
Why should I trust you with this?
I've spent over 25 years working in the software profession, I take digital security very seriously and I will never cut corners when it comes to keeping your precious images safe. They will be secure, they will be backed up and they will be private. That's a promise.
